ZING EAR ZE-109 pull chain switch Wiring Steps For Ceiling Fans:
1. Check the Wiring: Note: This model is designed for replacement of light switches with only 2 wires.
2. Cutting the Old Wires: Use a utility knife or wire stripper to cut the two wires from the existing switch.
3. Strip the Wires: Strip approximately 1/2 inch of insulation from each black wire.
4. Connecting the Wires:
Connect one black wire from the switch to one black wire from the ceiling fan.
Connect the second black wire from the switch to the second black wire from the ceiling fan.
5. Securing the Wires: Twist the wires together clockwise or use wire nuts to secure the connection. Important: Ensure all wire connections are secure. Loose connections can lead to fire hazards or electrical shocks.
6. Professional Installation Recommended: Although installation and replacement are relatively simple, we still recommend choosing a professional electrician for installation or replacement to ensure safety and proper functioning.
