They can be used as they are, glued into a build, or used in pairs to trap paper, fabric or a photo between two discs. 10 discs, 0.7" (18mm) across and 0.2" (5mm) thick. Ceramic is the sensible material when a job needs a lot of magnets rather than a few very strong ones: it stands up to damp and humid spots, it holds its strength at far higher temperatures than rare earth magnets, and it costs a fraction as much. Common uses: craft and hobby work by the bagful; whiteboards and notice boards in a classroom; sorting and holding small steel parts in a workshop or garage; the occasional household repair that needs a magnet and nothing else.
