Novice Barista and pros alike can now instantly and visibly determine whether or not their grind, dosing and/or technique is on or off. Valuable clues tell an informed trainee where work may be needed.
- ☕【Espresso Extraction Troubleshooting】: Double spout portafilter allows the barista to instantly deduce whether proper tamping technique has been achieved. If the extraction leans to one side or the other an improper angle was used when tamping. If rogue streams of espresso are seen coming from the bottom of the basket it is possible that your espresso portafilter 54mm was leveled and or dosed unevenly.
- ☕【Double Shot One Brewing】: One touch two shots, ensures each cup is extracted evenly and consistently. Make a quick and nice brewing with Kafvalubre double spout portafilter.
- ☕【EXCLUSIVELY FOR 54MM ESPRESS MACHINE】: 54mm portafilter perfectly fit models: Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Bambino, Plus, Infuser, Duo Temp Pro, Impress, Sage BES450, BES500, BES880, BES810BSS, BES860XL, BES870XL, BES878. Select a product to estimate shipping. As a training tool, the double spout portafilter is excellent for checking your tamping technique. Increased crema, better mouthfeel, and it’s just tastier.
Kafvalubre espresso portafilters allow you to see the espresso as it exits the basket. This allows you to immediately identify any faults in your dosing or tamping technique. You may be tamping slightly unevenly without releasing it; with a 54mm espresso portafilter you will see espresso leaving one side of the basket before the other side instead of it appearing evenly.
What Is Channeling?
When you tamp your well-dosed grounds evenly inside the portafilter, you’ll force the water to seep uniformly through the puck, resulting in a balanced extraction.
But if you rush the tamping process, your puck will have varying levels of compactness and resistance. This is bad because water will only pass through the areas, or “channels”, that have the least resistance. If this happens, you’ll be left with a chaotic cup that has both under-extracted and over-extracted tones.
54mm double spout portafilters, a perfect tool to improve your barista skill.
As the shot pulls, you can see the droplets of espresso forming from double spouts. You can then see the stream flowing down into your cup. It’s incredible!
